The only reason we don’t have revival is because we are willing to live without it.

A Thought for Today
When Others Fail Us. Jesus prayed, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing” Luke 23:34.
You’re in a difficult situation, and one by one, friends have fallen away. You might wonder how to respond to them. There is only one appropriate biblical response: forgiveness. As forgiven people, we never have the right to withhold pardon from others. (Remember, however, that forgiving does not require you to remain in an abusive situation.)
Because God unreservedly forgives us—and all who turn to Him—of sin, we too should be willing to extend forgiveness.

What does revival look like?
On September 16, 1859, a newspaper in Ballynahinch, Ireland, carried this article: “For the last two months the Lord’s work has been spreading in this place; hundreds…have passed through the gate of conversion. Prayer meetings…are conducted by the young and old…. Let a minister be seen passing anywhere…and going into a house and, in a few minutes, the reapers would be seen leaving the fields and thronging the house, such is their unquenchable thirst for the means of grace.”
That’s what revival looks like.
That’s what revival looks like.
Everyone hungry for the Word of God and the downpouring of the Holy Spirit.
New Group Study
We have a new group starting Wednesday Sept. 11th for anyone college age and above. This new group coincides with our Family Nights, and all are invited to attend from 5:30-7:00pm.
We’ll start with a study on the gospel. What is the gospel? That may seem like a simple question to ask, especially in a church setting, but it is more profound of a question than might be realized.
We may know it to be the Good News of Jesus Christ, and that would be correct, but what does that mean? Why is Jesus good news?
